Birthday Pooja

Birthday Pooja also called as Ashthachirinjivi Pooja and Janamdin Pooja is performed on the birth date of an individual. This Pooja is done to seek blessings from gods and elders to ensure success, health and prosperity in life. Ista dev and kula dev are worshipped in this Pooja. The Pooja begins with Ganesh Poojan followed by ista dev and kula dev Pooja and Ayush havan.

After completion of Pooja the birthday boy/girl seek blessings from their elders too. The Muhurata of this Pooja is decided by considering Raashi and Nakshatra of birthday boy/girl by pandit. On performing this Pooja the devotee get blessed with positivity, happiness and wellbeing.
